D Grade Withdrawn From ATCA

The Committee has made the decision to withdraw the D Grade from the competition as we do not have enough committed players. The decision has been made to ease the burden on the Selectors who try hard every week to fill the team.

Committed, financial players will be considered first when selecting the A, B and C Grades.

Events South Australia is looking for volunteers to help with events and activities associated with the Cricket World Cup. Positions required may include;

Drink Milo and win!

Adelaide Turf Cricket Association Policy

Please see below from the Adelaide Turf Cricket Association.  The Club Committee has discussed this and has unanimously voted to support the ATCA's stance.

The ATCA is extremely encouraged by the support and positive feedback it has received with its new policy of no alcohol in the opposition change rooms or as a collective group within the confines of that ground that does not involve the opponents. The Board extends its thanks and appreciation to all of the clubs in the association for embracing this direction in bringing back the social aspect of the game of cricket.

Going forward the ATCA has decided to transition this document (appeal) into an official  ATCA policy as follows:

A Message from Grum

Hi all,

As many of you are aware, I (along with several others) spend a lot of time running the Club.  It is full-time job on top of the one I already have.

Personalised Pavers

The Golden Grove Football Club invites all Brumbies players and supporters to buy a personalised paver to help fund the building of a new verandah looking out on the top oval at Harper's Field.  While it is true that we don't have a pitch in the top oval, part of the renovations include updating the kitchen in the clubrooms.  This wil also benefit the Brumbies.
